What Tom & Abbie, UK says about "Accommodation" ?
From the moment of our arrival at Pimalai we have been very keen to share our thoughts on the resort. Without question this is the most beautiful, scenic and classy hotel we have visited.
From the beach, with the luxurious loungers effortlessly shaded by a beautiful tree and the infinity pools (which I must say, completely takes your breath away) it is clear the architect behind this resort was exceptionally gifted. Needles to say the design is matched, if not superseded by the service of the resort, led by yourself.
The service was nothing short of prompt and enthusiastic, as every member of your staff hurried to greet us, from the gardener to the receptionist to the guards, all welcoming us with “ Sawasdee krup”. Their commitment and attitude towards us only served to add to our wonderful stay and we would like to make special mention of Ros ( the very attentive young gentleman in reception “GSO” who so rapidly aided me in transferring us from the Deluxe room to the Pool villa and also helped my girlfriend get some tweezers). We would also like to mention the exemplary service of the staff at Rak Talay who persisted in attending to our every need.
The accommodation? well, the Pool Villa took us a full 3 days to get used to with the breathtaking views. Every room in the villa offers something unique and glamorous and what made it so special was the personal touches added by the staff, from rose petals an our arrival carefully shaping out a heart, to the elephant decoration on our beds on the last night.
Ok, I’m sure you are thinking, this is somewhat superfluous; we are more interested in what you didn’t like Tom………Well it would be far out of our depths to offer any sage advice given that this hotel has already exceeded even our wildest expectations. However from our humble point of view we would think a telescope on the beach would be a lovely addition given the beautiful stars glittering above are heads every evening. Furthermore, even though the selection of food throughout the hotel is delicious, we would like to see a slightly broader choice for the “@ home dining”, having said this we were heartily impressed by the BBQ balcony option.
Perhaps it is a most fruitful compliment above my lyrical and syntactical imperfections (unfortunately I am not a writer!) is that we can only think of 2 rather small points to improve what has quickly become our favorite hotel in the world.
I feel I should add, given the harem of hyperboles I have used in this letter, that I work in the city of London as investment banker, and as such have been fortunate to gain a wealth of experience visiting the moss luxurious hotels in the world both through business and pleasure, so rest assured Sir, that when I speak so highly of your resort, it is not through innocent eyes that has driven me to write this letter, on the contrary in fact, it is because of my very good knowledge of the most beautiful resorts, that I can write of your distinction as an establishment. Indeed, that my girlfriend has similar experience of luxury throughout the world working for the Times newspaper in
London , can only serve to consolidate our view of Pimalai.
It is at this point I feel I must confess I am writing this letter on the boat back to Krabi airport, so please forgive my intolerable presentation, and awful writing. On parting from you we would very much like to extend our sin
ce re gratitude to yourself and your humble staff – both of whom have ensured a wonderful holiday that we will not only remember, but be very keen to repeat in the near future. We wish you every suc
ce ss as your resort continues to prosper and we look forward to hearing of a Pimalai Europe as soon as possible.
