My husband and I were given the opportunity to stay at Pimalai, when we won a 2-night Garden Room stay in a lucky draw organised by Ezyhealth magazine in Singapore.

I have been wanting since then to write and thank you all for what has possibly been the most superlative resort experience we have ever had.

From our arrival to departure, everything was perfect, with lots of loving attention to detail, and the staff went out of their way with great kindness and ready smiles to accommodate us and make us happy.

My husband was suffering from a stomach upset, and did not have much of an appetite - however, the Spice 'N Rice restaurant was happy to prepare a meal of khao tom (which was not on the menu) specially for him.

I found a book in the library that I really liked, and asked the staff where I might be able to buy a copy - as it turned out, the book was a Thai edition, and as (owing to our travel schedule) it was not possible for us to stop at a bookshop in a larger town before returning to Singapore, the staff member on duty promised to inquire on my behalf, and at the end of our stay I was permitted to purchase the book from Pimalai at the sticker price on the back.

Our entire stay was a joyous experience. Thank you once again for the incredible opportunity to visit Pimalai, and we greatly look forward to returning!
