What asianadventures - October 2009 says about "Accommodation" ?
We stayed at the Pimalai in a pool villa for one week for our honeymoon in October 2009. What an amazing place- words cannot describe how perfect it is. The infinity pool, is absolutely stunning. The resort was so peaceful and quiet- we had the beach and infinity pool almost to ourselves or the week that we were there. The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. The breakfast had freshly squeezed juices and ... vegemite!! The dinners were fantastic- really fresh seafood and lots of vegetarian options for me. We were visited by a monkey in our villa. The villa's are stunning. We were given 5 star treatment when we arrived with a cake, champagne and petals on our bed. Yes, you have to walk a bit to get around the resort, but it just helps to work off all of the food that you eat and cocktails that you drink while you are on holidays and it adds to the privacy of the resort. Our villa was very private and exactly what you need after the craziness of getting married. I would love to return to the Pimalai and hope to do so soon.
