As part of its efforts to promote sustainable environmental conservation, Pimalai Resort & Spa contributes actively in supporting the local authorities who, in conjunction with the Thai Fishery Department, sponsors the release and the breeding of clown fish. This environmental operation has now become a yearly event with the ultimate aim of turning waters surrounding the stunning Koh Haa islands, right across from the resort, into a fish sanctuary for “Nemo” and his friends. If you have not yet experienced a day of snorkeling, then you should know that the island of Lanta itself and the other surrounding islands are truly in very good shape and offer a great paradise for snorkelers and divers alike. The Clown fish release will take place this year on March 30^th, 2013. A worthwhile experience if you happen to travel to Lanta at the end of March.
