Mangrove & Fireflies Artwork......

If you travel to Pimalai, you will discover some very beautiful traditional Thai artworks ornamenting walls in several of our spacious alfresco public areas and restaurants. The latest one has been added t the Spice & Rice Thai restaurant and is called "Mangrove Trees and Fireflies". This work depicts the beautiful mangroves found on the east coast of Lanta island and habitat to a large variety of fauna, fish and crabs. It also is a reminder that Pimalai is home to fireflies that you can sometimes spot by the beach and along the waterfall bride be that links the lobby resort to the Spice & Rice Restaurant. So, on your next visit, keep your eyes wide open if you do not want to miss these artworks.
