Diving Courses

Learning to dive is both exhilarating and fun, and once you have mastered a few basic techniques, it will open up a new world of adventure and discovery. You can learn to dive in only two days! and at any age from ten years up, as long as you are in good health. As a PADI dive center we use a proven structure of training, and your certification will be recognized anywhere in the world. More people learn to dive with PADI each year than all of the other agencies combined. The courses are based on a self study system, which allows you to read the manual and watch the DVD's in your room, and in your own time.

The Pimalai Dive Center is now open all year from. November to April remains the best time for scuba diving, but from May to October there are still plenty possibilities to scuba dive around Koh Lanta. The dive center Scubafish @ Pimalai offers very good trips, essentially to Koh Haa, Ko Rok, Hin Daeng & Hin Muang and also to the southern islands such as Koh Kradan, Koh Mook or Koh Ngai; the boats depart from the Old Town pier on the Lanta east coast where the boats are moored. Scuba diving is of course subject to sea/ weather conditions and this all year around; from May to October, please note that a minimum number of divers is usually required to operate the boat trip – eg; minimum 4 divers for a trip to Koh Haa, minimum 6 for a trip to Hin Daeng.
